like #E32636/Rose Madder/Fangyi, i'm quite sure i discovered pixel art very late. at the oldold age of 13 TT.
and i oopened my resource site after seeing my classmate,joyce's site, and decided to open one my own. it was originally "th-laughter-place" now the i think back, it was uber lame. ):
anyway, now, i'm doing more CGs than pixels. here's my..favourite pixel:

Well, i might say that i discovered pixel art rather late in my opinion... I just opened my resource site (unofficial opening) a while ago and i started looking for pixel art tutorials on the net. I found many useful ones, but my skills were just bad. Before i actually looked at a tutorial, i was playing around with photoshop, messing with textures and selective colouring. For me, who just got in touch with pixel art, i found it very tough to adapt myself to the sight of a pixellised image as i only dealed with larger images before.

I'm really love art to the fullest, trying to learn the many different types of art forms. I'm in my school's art club too, Only they do "traditional art" like painting and pottery. My interest in digital art has been amplified by my passion for design & technology too. So much said, wanna see my first pixel art?

I'm rather proud of my first pixel... The pixel was of course done totally by myself. Looking at it now, i think it turned out better than i thought. My art always seem to be like that, me thinking it's ugly, then looking back it's so pretty. Maybe after all i'm a perfectionist with my art. Oh, i think i did pillow-shading on my first pixel... =x

Did you ever realise that Maple & Habbo is completely pixelled. Amazing, huh.
Here's my first few sucessful pixels:

A slice of cake and a robot. Impressive, I know.
My favourite thing to pixel are buttons :D Freaking fun.

As quoted from wikipedia. After seeing many impressive sites, I too decided to try my hand at pixelling. I anticipated it to be an easy task but pixelling proved to be no easy feat. Endless amount of zooming in and out. Painstakingly shading each pixel. Doing mathematical calculations to make the pixel even. So much effort just for a 15 by 15 pixel! Worth it? Obviously!

What they say is true. Practice does make perfect and everyone has the capability of improving.
